Steele Business Coaching’s 5 Core Values

 

Why are core values so important to Steele Business Coaching (SteeleBC)?

Core values are an essential set of guiding characteristics that define who you are at the core and what you want from the culture of your organization.

We are serious about driving culture and ensuring that all of our people Right People. We are not interested in only a warm body or a warm body with skills. We only want people who align with our core values and fit our culture like a glove.

Anyone that joins the SteeleBC team MUST align with our 5 core values.

At our core, the SteeleBC team are people who:

1. Are humbly confident

Open, honest, real and well-practiced, ready to make a positive difference.

In other words, team members are not arrogant and are willing to be vulnerable and coachable for the greater good of SteeleBC and our clients. We know the EOS® Worldwide coaching program and are ready to execute purely with our clients because EOS® is a complete, proven process.

2. Do the right thing

Never betraying a trust and doing whatever it takes to resolve every issue so people can move forward.

Team members are trustworthy and believe that no amount of money is worth betraying a trust. We ask ourselves the question, “If Mom were watching…” And we enter the danger and focus on solving issues at the root for the greater good of SteeleBC and our clients.

3. Continuous improvement

Driven to maximize every situation and take ourselves and our clients to the next level.

SteeleBC team members are more uncomfortable with the status quo than the prospect of change. We are avid learners and continually invest in ourselves to gain more knowledge, understanding and wisdom. We have the ability to see various aspects of a situation, understanding HOW the information we gain is applicable to situations and having good judgment as to WHEN it is beneficial to apply to those situations.

4. Help first

Subordinating our personal interests to advance others, always giving value before expecting anything in return.

This core value is built into the SteeleBC guarantee and communicated in our FREE 90 Minute Meeting. Team members MUST provide value, delivering on our promises BEFORE receiving anything in return. We believe that you get out of life what you want if you help enough people get what they want. We genuinely get a high from helping people.

5. Do what we say

Sometimes more, never less.

This core value is also built into the SteeleBC guarantee. Team members have an established agenda for each session. We will communicate that agenda and understand our clients’ expectations to be sure we are on the same page before moving forward. We understand that it’s okay to say no and we will take responsibility – blaming no one. We are on time, finish what we start and fully deliver on our promises.
